Review of Le Million (1931) by Will G — 05 Oct 2007
A mostly enjoyable musical comedy from 30s France. I've seen other musicals from this era, so I know how good this could have been. But aside from goofy lyrics, stagey scenes and a less-than-riveting plot, the film makes for an enjoyable time.
From what I understand, this had a lot of influence on musicals that followed it. I'm no expert on musicals, so maybe you'll pick out just how.
