Big influence on pretty much all musicals and also on the likes of the marx brothers. I dont know that one can call it simply a musical but more a like a lyrical play but its pretty entertaining. there are some very funny sequences including the football with the jacket scene and when the main character is forced to smile of a picture and it just isnt working.
