I remember the first time I saw this movie I guess I was about 8 yrs old we had met Martin Brundle with his Jaguar in Dereham in Norfolk outside the tyre place there and I was just mesmorised by this film, like stated below there were no special effects in this film and no set but what is more amazing is that the film was shot in the race itself if nothing else it tells you how good Mcqueen was as a driver, The film is more of a documentary really but its filmed at the absolute height of the Porsche and Ferrari duels at Le Mans Fantastic.
