Humorous and charming way of telling a story of the cruel reality faced by illegal immigrants, the compassion of the human soul and solidarity among people. It felt like watching a film from the 70's-80s' because of the lighting and camera shots.
The only hint of modern technology I can relate to 2012 is the one cellphone that belonged to one of the bad guys.
