Review of Le Divorce (2003) by Brett M — 15 Jun 2007
An immense, wonderful, wide ranging example of god awful dialogue. god, it was awful. awful, I say. j'ai dit <>. that is to say "bad," or as the french might say "damn that is some stinky cheese. you smell that? that is fuckin stinky ass, stinky cheese." did I mention that the plot was cheesey, as well? because I should mention that. remind me to do so, please. hey, i'm saying the same shit over and over again. I wonder what on earth what inspire me to do such. (note the extremely contrived quasi-existensial dilema I have crafted for myself. god, i'm clever. almost as much so as the makers of this movie.).
Hey, now i'm being serious again, look: i'm even more sick of american films cashing in on french culture than I am of the contrary - and i'm pretty sick of that, aussi.
