"There once was a boy who lived in a house, and the house sat under a tree. By the tree ran a fence that stretched far and wide 'round the Gated Community...".
And those immortal lyrics about sum up this film's titular character, a "Lawn Dog" who befriends a ten-year-old girl from the "Gated Community" where he mows lawns for a living.
The story that unfolds as a result is beautiful, touching, and oftentimes undeniably fun.
