Review of Lawless (2012) by Jeff C — 06 Apr 2013
This movie doesn't work. Tom Hardy is interesting but I'll be damned if I didn't have a hard time understanding what he was saying again. I've had enough of Shia LaBeouf. Guy Pearce is bad.
Gary Oldman is barely in the movie at all. Dane DeHaan as Cricket Pane is very good. The screenplay is disjointed and the director loses direction. Should have been called POINTLESS.
