Review of Lawless (2012) by Matt A — 30 Apr 2013
When Tom Hardy is in a film you are usually gauranteed a decent film, with the exception of This Means War, his stoic performance is both menacing and endearing. But never so much have I hated a character as much as who Guy Pearce plays.
He is so sadistic in himself its a punch in the air moment when karma catches up with him. Also special mention for Shia LaBeouf, he actually acts in this film and this is probably his coming of age film.
Brutal and brilliant. Loved it.
