I was not totally aware of the true story of the Bondurant brothers, but I was certainly intrigued by it. These types of movies always seem to draw me in. It certainly helps when they have a cast like this as well.

Not knowing the true story I cannot compare how the movie portrayed it, but maybe that isn't a factor to many anyhow. After getting into the movie a bit it becomes pretty clear that the right people were playing the right parts.

I have to give a kudos to both the casting group and the actors for doing their jobs so well. Shia LaBeouf plays the "wimpy" brother that has the intelligence to turn their business into one of great profits.

Tom Hardy fits the "badass" tough brother to a t. This seems to be becoming his MO of sorts lately. Jason Clarke also does a fabulous job of playing the go between brother as well, although his part seems to be shadowed by the other two.

The movie is fast paced and the storyline flows along smoothly. You probably won't get bored watching it. That being said, it is kind of like all the other movies like this. The stories are all fairly similar and so are the endings.

They always seem to tend to glorify the criminal and vilify the police. Although this could certainly be the case in real life, they make it happen in the movie by the actions and mentality of the characters.

I am not saying it is a bad movie, because I enjoyed it, but you most likely won't be too surprised by how the events all unfold throughout the movie. All in all it is probably worth the time to watch it.
