LAC is a peculiar beast indeed. Clearly not pleasing the critics, it certainly pleased the ticket-buying public and has an IMDB rating over 7. It has a strong cast and a certain twisted sense of justice and humour but this is nonsense of the highest order.
There are some smooth set pieces but when both key protagonists' characters are so flawed, it's hard to care who wins or why. Watching this is a bit like smoking - you know it's not doing you any good, but it's hard to stop.
