Review of Law Abiding Citizen (2009) by Lisa R — 07 Feb 2012
Had to mark want to see cause a friend recommended my initial thing was not interested.
I marked not interested because I personally dont like Jamie Fox as an actor and I dont like his comedic style and I still found his acting out of touch.. he couldnt convince me or even get me caught up in his role in this movie.
On the other hand Gerard Butler was astounding... one of his better roles and he had me totally engulfed in his role and moods and the twist and turns he made in this thriller. I totally get the writer/director's point of view where they wanted to showcase the otherside of the law and how fair it is. At the end of the day your lawyer decides your fate and its all about publicity and their greed for advancement.
The ending even tho interesting... I didnt buy too much into it.
