Review of L'Avventura (1960) by Frances B — 24 Jun 2007
I was reluctant to see this film because I wasn't impressed with blow up. but this is the kind of film that you can really discuss. so many ways to read the main characters, not to mention how beautifully it is shot to suggest so many different things.
it's fun to see how the surroundings affect the characters, a little role reversal, and how claudia slowly becomes a little bit of anna right after she is lost.
