Review of L'Avventura (1960) by Darryl J — 25 Sep 2008
I was not prepared for what this film was or what it became. I really liked how Antonioni led us to believe it was gonna be a mystery but it turned out anything but that. Once the initial shock of the pacing of the movie wore off,I slowly began to understand the movie and how Antonioni wanted his story to be told.
This is definitely one of those films that is appreciated with multiple viewings.
