Gracefully tiptoes over clichés in a way that makes you always worry about the movie going to shit but then shows you with masterful hands and a powerful creative vision that it really is just a well-thought out movie.
Though the dialogue sometimes falters it has a strong plot with some very powerful one-liners. Most importantly though I think it gives an honest portrayal to certain aspects of the gay community that often either get neglected or over exaggerated.
