Review of L'Atalante (1934) by Andrew S — 14 Jun 2012
It's like being whisked away into a dream. L'Atalante is a beautiful film that was years ahead of its time. It's tragic that Jean Vigo, the film's visionary director died shortly after making the film at the young age of 29, but he had a profound influence on the cinematic medium that lives on to this very day.
