Review of Last Train Home (2009) by Samantha E — 15 Mar 2011
An exceptional film with a remarkable meaning. The most captivating aspect of the film is the presence of this rarely achievable sense, explicitly thrust into the perception of the viewer: that the fragments of raw human emotion captured within the tumultuous dynamics of the principle characters were done so without intention.
It's beautiful, heart-wrenching, thought-provoking, and most of all it provides one with the opportunity to make an intimate connection with a people, and culture, that typically lie way outside the confines of what we consider to be the norm.
Without a doubt, watch this.
