Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Jacob W — 11 Jan 2008
Excellent cinematography, superb performances, and some scenes are nothing short of incredible. A majority of the scenes, though, are either unnecessary or just plain bizarre. The "confessional" type scenes were amazing - the film should have stuck to that kind of wandering, vacant feeling instead of trying to sprinkle plot points.
Oh well. Worth watching, but nothing amazing.
