Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Eric G — 16 Jul 2009
The scene where he speaks to his wife's dead body might be the best acted scene ever put on film. He is the greatest actor of all time, and this is easily one of his best performances (the greatest screen performance of all time in my opinion being Brando in On the Waterfront).
..the intense nature of the film often scares people away, and that is sad because this is one of the most emotionally devastating and powerful films I have ever seen.
