Whenever the critics hate something, there must be something good about it. In this case, the ivory tower pundits obviously haven't read a newspaper in 30 years. Finally a believable, feel-good story comes along and the critics don't "get" it.
This film appeals to regular people who work, pray and love their country. The storyline is being repeated all over America. The theatre I was in burst into applause more than once. You'll laugh, cry and cheer for "The Last Full Measure".
