Review of Last of the Dogmen (1995) by Matthew L — 22 May 2011
A beautifully shot modern day western, that presents a very real hypothesis of Native Americans still living in the wilderness of Montana's Oxbow Quadrangle. The overall plot is a little thin and only just sustains its running time and for the most part seems content to hold its hands up at early settlers treatment of Native Americans.
Berenger and Hershey work well together and have genuine chemistry. A good film for lazy Sunday afternoons.
