Review of Last Night (1998) by Greg W — 11 Jun 2007
Great concept, but ultimately this is an unfocused movie. If Altman had made this, he'd have skipped the heavy handed irony. A veritable who's-who of Canadian cinema (or McKellar's drinking buddies) stars in this fable about the often unrealized final fantasies that people want to have on the last night of the world.
But still, you have to admire the DJ who has "Glamour Boy" in his lineup for the final music countdown.
