Review of Last Night (1998) by Mike M — 06 Aug 2007
A great film: funny yet poignant. I enjoy a malevolent asteroid, the end of oil, or genetically engineered pandemics as much as the next scifi junkie, but "Last Night" is far away the best apocalypse film you've never seen (yes, this gem came out the same year as "Deep Impact" and "Armageddon").
Callum Keith Rennie's scene with Genevieve Bujold bears the stamp of genius - this alone makes the film worth seeing.
