Review of Last Night (1998) by Emily Y — 02 May 2008

I've been wanting to see this for years and I'm glad that I finally caught it, it's really rather good! The whys and wherefores of the end of the world are rightly ignored in this film, that's not what it's about at all.

It's just about how people would deal with it. Even with those about whom you thought "I wouldn't do that, silly s*d" you can understand why they're acting in the way that they are.

Touching, funny, sad and oddly uplifting. A really worthwhile investment of an hour and half of your oh so short life, and then I watched Next, and wasted the same amount, oh well.
