Review of Last Man Standing (1996) by Robin M — 19 Dec 2011
One of those plotless shoot-everybody-dead-like-a-computer-game films but if you like sort of cartoony ultra-violent flicks then this one is at the top of its game, thanks to the excellent cinematography and evocative Western iconography.
Willis plays the lead as if he's heavily sedated. Eyes half closed, he mumbles along like a crossbreed of Arnie and Lee Van Cleef. Fortunately, there are also some actors in the film.
