Review of Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989) by Shannon P — 13 Dec 2007
A truly gritty and superb street drama of which I haven't seen the likes in years. it's a trip of destruction for all the characters and the subtle showing of how there still is some hope no matter how bad things get.
jennifer jason leigh provides the totty with a rack view... and burt young plays the archetypal italian american father. well done to all the cast really. superb acting. never heard of uli edel but will be on the lookout for anything else he's directed.
