Review of Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989) by John B — 05 Oct 2013

I watched this because I thought that it must be a great film if Alt-J would write Fitzpleasure about it. I was disappointed. Yes it was grim in places and has some rather surprising scenes but, in general, it had a feeling of an overexaggerated picture of fifties new york; almost as if somebody was having a dig at the people there in a private joke of a film.
