The quality of the production is undeniable. The challenge I had with this film is that while it presents a number of interesting ideas --- but never actually explores any deep enough to actually leave a mark.
Ewan McGregor, as always, gives a strong performance based more in his effective screen presence than in his skill as an actor. A movie star born a couple of decades too late to be fully appreciated.
