Review of Last Days in the Desert (2016) by Ash G — 15 Aug 2016
I found this movie brilliantly depicted. Someone else used the word "disruptive" and I find that spot on. This wasn't meant to be a 'biopic bible movie,' - this film was meant to show the sheer human-ness of something declared 'divine,' it was meant to provoke thought of good and evil often being a reflection of one another and there is something divine in the realness of a desert that strips everything divine.
..away. What a person's views are on spirituality, I think this film - from the way it is shot, to the script, to the character, gives substance to how we live out ourselves. Well done.
