There is no longer a reason to say something is like watching paint dry, now we can just say it is like watching Gus Van Sant's Last Days. Truly terrible, pointless, mindless, and boring; not to mention a disgrace to everything that could have been a great Kurt Cobain story.
Michael Pitt may actually be able to play a good Kurt if he were given something to do. The only times this films is bearable are through the indeed great performances by Pitt which merit this film with a one star; without them the movie wouldn't even be worth half a star.
