Review of Samsara (2011) by Steven E — 24 Oct 2012
This movie evoked so many marvelous mixed emotions. When it began, it was a travelogue of "cool -- now I can check all of these world wonders off of my bucket list". And then it takes a turn for the ugly about half way through revealing our disgusting lack of humanity within our stupid, derranged consumerism.
When will it end? I was shaken and distressed in all of the right ways. I hope it works similarly on others, but the people who need to see this information the most will probably miss out by seeing something like Paranormal Activity 4 instead.
