Review of Last Chance Harvey (2008) by Terrance E — 09 Jun 2009

A well written and quite beautiful film in places, and a nice change to see a film not pitched at the teenage market. It's a quiet and reflective piece driven by two very strong central performances (with particular kudos to Emma Thompson) but it's uplifting and heartwarming.

There are a few rather too neat story choices made which stops the film being brilliant.
