Sure Hoffman and Thompson are master actors, but no one could save this dud of a script. Hoffman's character is changes every five minutes to fit whatever situation the contrived script puts him in.
I'm not sure I know who his "Harvey" was, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to get to know him.
