Review of Last Chance Harvey (2008) by Al P — 23 Mar 2010
I thought this was a pretty good film. What a nice touching story of two people finding each other. I kind of wish it had a different actor in the leading role but Dustin Hoffman did capture the spirit of Harvey.
He really made you feel uncomfortable for him. It was painful to see the way his family was embarrassed by him at at times I wondered how he hadn't thrown himself off a brigde due to all of it. Emma Thompsen was wonderful as always when it comes to portraying the stifled woman.
