Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Rory R — 21 Jul 2012
Ryan Gosling once again showing his versatility with a great performance, playing a man scarred from his childhood, growing to be an awkward, lonely human-being, needing the help of a doll to get him out of his shell.
All round charming film, with a lot of heart, showing that with help and support from the people around you, you don't have to be alone. I particularly liked the bowling scene, really put a smile on my face, sometimes you gotta let people in to feel apart of something special :).
