A fairly good, original script is attached to Lars and the Real Girl, with some really nice acting from Ryan Gosling. But really, pull Gosling out of the picture, and the rest of the movie falls pretty short.
Some times its humor is its downfall... It's such a silly concept that you're not really sure whether to feel emotionally attached to scenes, or think of them as jokes. It's not a great movie, but it's not BAD either.
