Review of Land of the Pharaohs (1955) by Greg W — 17 Nov 2013
Land of the Pharaohs is a remarkable film. It is about a captured architect who designs an ingenious plan to ensure the impregnability of tomb of a self-absorbed Pharaoh, obsessed with the security of his next life.
Jack Hawkins and Joan Collins give amazing performances. The script is well written. Howard Hawks did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed this motion picture because of the drama. Land of the Pharaohs is a must see.
