Review of Land of the Dead (2005) by David E — 08 Apr 2011
Romero returns to his trademark zombie films. Here he continues on the path chosen in Day of the Dead, with the zombies having the ability to evolve and develop reasoning skills. Viewable as social commentary, yet again, this time focusing on immigration politics and social divides.
Not the best entry into the oversaturated zombie genre of the 2000s, but a steady flick.
