Review of Land of the Dead (2005) by Mark V — 01 Jul 2011
"Land of the Dead" is, in my opinion, the last great zombie movie to date. The inclusion of CGI is unfortunate and unnecessary but is made up for by George's trademark gore. Whilst not exactly fresh, it does touch upon some ideas from the '85 "Day" and expands on them.
The cast is mostly forgettable with the exception of John Leguizamo and Robert Joy.
