Review of Lamb (2021) by Orukayu — 22 Jan 2023
I'll call it a 2021 mystery movie, but it's not. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited when I saw a 6-odd score as a horror genre lately. But it has nothing to do with fear.
Especially, I will not think in vain that this result will come out of this or that. What happened?
One winter's day, a half-man, half-ram creature plunged into the corral. Then one of the sheep gave birth. The family who lost their children in the past embraced it as their children. They even killed the sheep that wanted its baby. Finally, the real father came and took his child.
These events were shot with such heavy and stagnant scenes that they wasted the audience's time. There is no excitement, no tension, and nothing to make you wonder. The best thing in the movie is Handel's Keyboard Suite in D Minor that plays at the end. The movie has two scenes involving sexuality and nudity.
