Did the impossible - made me hate Samuel L! His cop Abel Turner has not just a chip but a whole blooming tree sprouting out of his shoulder when it comes to race "issues", real or perceived. I looked it up afterwards and "Lakeview Terrace" was apparently the area Rodney King was beaten up in.
Tuner immediately takes umbrage with the new couple next door (white male, black female) and a hellish neighbourhood feud breaks out. Has enough moments to keep the tension going but not the best film ever.
