Review of Lakeview Terrace (2008) by Gary A — 21 Aug 2009
Lakeview Terrace is a average Movie with a performance by Samual L. Jackson who made the entire film, Jackson steals each scene with his raw emotion, rage (full pulp fiction fervor) as Abel Turner, 28 year veteran L.
A.P.D. Police Officer, the neighbor from Hell, its worth watching alone. I liked the beginning and the first half of the Movie it was building up and I had great expectations and then the cliche's started pouring in one after the another, the least of which is the classic " accident-that-changed -my-life-and turned-me-into- a nut case.
The final scenes are so anticlimactic and predictable straight-out of " Training Day " it was annoying and pathetic at best. All in all as I stated, average film except for Samuel L. Jackson's brilliant performance, and yes there is a color issue here and it's " blue ".
