Review of Lakeview Terrace (2008) by Valerie P — 18 Mar 2010
A biracial couple move into their newlywed home in California, only to become the target of a racist cop (Samuel L.). I thought I wouldn't like this film, but it was actually pretty good. It reminded me a lot of Unlawful Entry, only with a racial element.
I didn't feel much for Patrick Wilson's character, who came across as a jerk, but I really felt for both his wife and the policeman's children. It's a shame that biases like this really do exist.
