A faux documentary that is so convincing and well done, that I just have trouble believing it wasn't real. This film follows a family who loses their daughter to a drowning on Lake Mungo. Soon after, strange things begin to happen, leading the family to believe that their daughter may have come back as a ghost.

This film is a slow burn, and takes a lot of time establishing the characters and story behind the daughter's drowning. It really takes its time, but the unease and creepyness of this film is second to none.

The actors and camerawork are so well done its just so hard to believe its not real. The film doesn't go for the jump moments like so many films do today, but rather just lets the mood and unease be what is scary.

One moment in particularly really did scare the crap out of me.
