Review of Laid to Rest (2009) by Carl N — 24 May 2009
This is a wonderful retro flashback to the cheesy slashers of the 80s. Updated with some pretty explicit and realistic gore porn. It has everything you could want from this type of film, Strong violent and some very unique killings.
Cheesy acting and a nasty killer called Chrome Skull. The plot was all over the place, verging on the terrible. But that really didn't matter because what do you expect from this genre? Bobbi Sue Luther does a good job with the lead role.
My only grumble is that Lena Headey didn't have better role. Look out for a cameo from Richard Lynch.
