Issues with things like framing, blocking, editing, characterization, acting, talent, suspense, bathos, plotting and so on are all mediocre or simply amateurish in this small time film about a scary looking masked killer trying to stab a woman.
People forget that John Carpenter of Halloween fame had graduated from a respected film school and obsessed over replicating quality cinematography in his vision, which some discredited at the time anyway - these days anyone with two digital cameras and some friends as actors can make a slasher film.
Avoid.
