Review of Laid to Rest (2009) by Shawn E — 15 May 2011
I loved this flick. Is it the most original film ever made, no, but it is still a great story that kept me involved. The effects and makeup remind me of the old school practical effect that I love about horror.
As far as slashers go, Chrome Skull is creepy as hell, and has a strength to him that I adore in a slasher. I was hooked on this one as soon as I saw the trailer. If you love horror, I think you'll dig this one.
I think they did a great job.
