Pretty standard slasher film, but a rather well made low budget effort. This film showed me there really could still be life in the old school style of slasher/killer horror films, where they don't have to necessarily create elaborate kill sequences like in "Saw" or "Hostel", but focusing on suspense, characters, and story is far more effective.
But that's not to say this film was absent of tons of blood. There was actually quite a lot of nasty kills that were far better than anything in the "Friday the 13th" or "Halloween" remakes.
Quite a pleasant surprise.
