Review of Ladyhawke (1985) by Jon L — 11 Nov 2007
A regular medieval fantasy movie with a memorable cast of actors and creatures. Matthew Broderick brings life to this film as a clever pickpocket drawn into a magical romance. The special effects show the film's age (and so does the atrocious soundtrack), but the movie is still overall enjoyable.
It gets bonus points from me for the gorgeous and well-trained Red Tailed Hawk, who was a decent actor in her own right.
