Review of Ladyhawke (1985) by Viktor B — 27 Jul 2013
A rather unique fantasy adventure from the mid 80's & the director of Superman & the Lethal Weapon movies.
Rutger Hauer & Michelle Pfeiffer play two lovers separated by a tragic curse which makes her a hawk by day and him a wolf by night. With the help of petty thief (Matthew Broderick) they try to get the curse lifted.
It's quite an enjoyable movie from a time when fantasy movies ranged from absolutely terrible to above average. This is at the latter part of that scale, my main criticism was that the electronic music score really felt out of place.
