Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by Sean B — 09 Jul 2008
This movie was beautifully shot and is solid all around. Chan-woo Park has to be one of the best directors out there. The story has a simpler structure than "Oldboy" but its captivating and holds you in. The acting was really good, especially by Yeong-ae Lee and Min-sik Choi (who was awesome as the lead in "Oldboy"). I loved the unique classical music in the score that they play throughout the film.
Of Park's work, "Oldboy" is still my personal favorite but this movie still is solid all around. SEE IT.
